Former child star Gavin Stone must perform 200 hours of community service after trashing a hotel room in his hometown. As Gavin is fulfilling his hours cleaning at a local church, he learns they are staging a lavish production. All kinds of hilarious things happen as he pretends to be a Christian to land the lead part of Jesus Christ. He later discovers that the most important role in life is far from Hollywood.
