Northwestern Math, Science Departments to Offer Academy for Elementary Students

The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Mathematics and Natural Science departments are gearing up for a math and science academy on the four Fridays in June. The academy is free, but advance registration is required at www.nwosu.edu/forms/math-and-science-academy-registration.

Elementary students in grades 2-5 will engage in math and science enrichment activities with Northwestern faculty and students. Each Friday, students will complete various hands-on math and science activities, learning about different math and science concepts.

The academy will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Dates and locations include:

June 5, 12 and 19 – Science Amphitheatre
June 26 – Student Center Ranger Room

All supplies for this academy are provided with funding from the Beisel, Fellers and Fischer Endowments.
